Twenty-three state governments, the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro sued the U.S. Postal Service over its final Ballot Mail for Federal Elections rule, representing 24 states plus D.C. The complaint says the rule unlawfully gives the Postal Service authority over mail-voting administration and seeks urgent declaratory and injunctive relief before the November 3 midterms.
