TA-35 Ends Hebrew Year Up 41.5% as TA-125 Gains 36%

The TA-35 ended Hebrew year 5786 with a 41.5% gain, while the TA-125 advanced 36%, according to final Tel Aviv trading data reported Thursday. On the year’s final session, the TA-35 fell 1.2% and the TA-125 declined 1.4%. Israel’s 10-year government bond yield rose four basis points to 3.94%, its highest level since May. The annual gains remained substantial despite the weaker final session. The exchange then entered its Rosh Hashanah holiday break, with no trading scheduled for September 11.
