Zelenskyy Says IMF Will Help Find Part of Ukraine’s 2027 Funding

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after meeting International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva on September 22 that the fund would help Ukraine find part of the money needed for financial resilience in 2027. He did not announce an amount or say the money had already been secured. Zelenskyy said Ukraine's parliament had passed some laws required by commitments to partners, and he expected lawmakers to pass the remaining legislation tied to financial support by the end of the year.
