Dvoustátní řešení nelze vnutit prostřednictvím bojkotů. Musí být vybudováno vytvořením pobídek, vztahů a důvěry, které umožní kompromis. Co přesně Británie na oplátku požaduje od palestinského vedení? Kde je tlak na řešení bující korupce, neschopnosti pořádat volby, oslavování a odměňování terorismu a podněcování, které podkopává soužití? Žádný takový tlak neexistuje. Británie se místo toho upíná k potrestání demokratického spojence, přičemž ignoruje bezpečnostní realitu, které Izraelci čelí, a nepožaduje reformy nutné pro skutečný mír. Británie tvrdí, že brání dvoustátní řešení. Ve skutečnosti odsouvá mír ještě dál mimo dosah.

Allow me to explain why @EllenBarkin is utterly and dangerously wrong. Antisemitism has never required someone to announce, “I hate Jews.” It has always found respectable-sounding ways to express itself: Jews have too much power, too much money, too much influence, or the wrong loyalties. Today, Jew-hatred presents itself as an argument that Jews alone are not entitled to their state. Criticism of Israel isn’t antisemitism. But the belief that Jewish self-determination is uniquely illegitimate most definitely is.
