**America Under Siege: Inside Threats** Iran was ready to launch. Twenty years ago Congress created an EMP commission over fears Iran would put a nuclear warhead on a North Korean missile and detonate it above the United States, a strike that could kill 90 percent of Americans in one year and send the country back to the Dark Ages. Iran has called America the Great Satan since 1979. The warning now is that the war is no longer only overseas. The enemy has already been imported inside, including into the government.
Syria sits at the center of the map. That location is why Assad fell and why the region either holds or explodes. It was Iran’s land bridge to Hezbollah. Cut that corridor and the axis lost its hub. The same geography now makes Syria the energy and trade route around Hormuz, linking the Gulf to Turkey and Europe. That is why Washington just pulled Syria off the terror list. Control the hub and you lock Iran out. Lose it and the old supply lines return.
Iran is out of time and options, and China’s continued backing of Tehran puts the global economy in jeopardy. The ceasefire is dead. Washington is cutting Iran’s last revenue lines. Tehran will not reopen Hormuz first. China still buys most of Iran’s oil and vows to protect that trade. That keeps the regime alive and diesel near record highs. The next two weeks decide it: a real Hormuz corridor, or a longer shock to the world economy.
CHINA NEEDS AMERICA’S MARKET WHILE FUNDING IRAN China’s factories run on American consumers. Yet Beijing keeps buying Iran’s discounted oil and feeding its missile program. Washington has put them on notice. Keep propping up a regime that attacks U.S. interests, and market access is on the line. China wants both the cash and the cheap oil. It doesn’t get both forever. America holds the leverage. Time to use it.
