Einat Wilf je bývalá poslankyně Knesetu za Stranu práce a spoluautorka knihy The War of Return, definitivní kritiky palestinského nároku na návrat uprchlíků.
Řekli: uplatníme zákon, budou sankce. Zákon neuplatnili. Sankce existují: sankce Britů, Francouzů a Kanaďanů, stejně jako v případě jejich uznání šrödingerovského státu Palestina, jsou dalším výrazem (kromě všech vnitropolitických úvah ve vztahu ke Straně zelených) toho, že my jako stát Izrael neříkáme, co chceme v Judeji a Samaří (samozřejmě ani v Gaze). Už desítky let tam udržujeme suverénní nejednoznačnost a především neříkáme sami sobě, našim občanům tam ani světu, co chceme. Je to naše? Není to naše? Dočasné? Kam směřujeme? Jasnost – není. A tato vláda se zvláště specializovala na smrtící kombinaci řečí ve stylu Abu Aliho, které nejsou podloženy skutky. Stavějí farmy, ale izraelský zákon neuplatní ani na kulhající kozu. A výmluva: budou sankce. Takže teď máme sankce i nemáme izraelský zákon. Tak co tedy? Vznikne nová vláda. Zřídí komisi – lidi z pravice i levice, vojenské odborníky, geology a geografy a každého, kdo může přispět – s jediným úkolem: přineste mapu. Kneset jako orgán zastupující suveréna uplatní izraelské občanské právo na části území Judeje a Samaří a podle izraelského občanského práva budou všichni rovnými občany. Tam, kde izraelské občanské právo platit nebude, bude pokračovat aktivní vojenská okupace za účelem změny vědomí a ideologie (Američané v Japonsku/spojenci v nacistickém Německu – žádná UNRWA, žádní uprchlíci, žádný návrat). Pro tento proces bude vykonána seriózní politická a diplomatická práce s důkladnou přípravou. Stručně, iniciativa a jasnost v ústředním tématu, před nímž podle všeho právě teď všichni utíkají. I wrote this after the Oxford Union Debate "Israel Never Truly Wanted Peace with Palestine". I now attach the full debate here for your own assessment (my own section is in a previous tweet): https://t.co/WJkBMNHHgU 1) It is easy to dismiss universities or student debating societies, but the war of ideas is being fought in many places and arenas, and this is one of the most important ones. Universities serve to launder lies and blood libels against Israel, lending them respectability and legitimacy. 2) There is enormous importance in showing up to these places prepared. And yes, facts matter. The final vote was 208 to 129 against us, which, given the environment and the audience, was a very impressive result. Several of those who voted with us came up to us afterwards to say how much they appreciated that we had taken the debate seriously, brought facts, and did not resort to shouting. People can be persuaded. Those who give up in advance fail to understand how dangerous it is to leave the arena empty. 3) I also learnt something (again..) about the Jewish condition. It was very clear that on the other side there had been almost no effort to make serious arguments, and little preparation or coordination. From their perspective, there is no reason to bother: they have grown accustomed to simply saying "apartheid" and "genocide" and knowing that applause will follow. But therein lies an opportunity. Laziness and complacency born of having things too easy are always vulnerabilities. We knew we were in a difficult position, so we prepared, coordinated, and made sure to be extremely precise. There is no question that difficulty sharpens the mind. 4) And now something about politics. One of the reasons that I am running at the head of a new political party is that today there is not a single party leader who truly understands the scale of the global war of ideas being waged against Israel and Zionism, and who is prepared to invest the effort required to fight it systematically. That does not mean giving a speech here or there. It means actually building an operation that does not depend on one person, or on one person's command of English: bringing together the best Israelis, and there are many of them, working in multiple languages, who know how to make the case, know the facts, are constantly present in the arena and never leave it uncontested; people who understand how the campaign against Israel and Zionism, and the assault on Jews around the world, actually operates, and who work continuously to confront it.

את המילים הללו כתבתי למחרת הדיבייט באוקספורד ״ישראל מעולם לא רצתה שלום עם פלסטין״. אני מצרפת כאן את הלינק לדיבייט במלואו להתרשמותכם (החלק שלי מהדיבייט עם כתוביות בעברית נמצא בציוץ קודם): https://t.co/lEa4Oi7Y4B 1) קל לזלזל באוניברסיטאות או בארגוני דיבייט של סטודנטים, אבל מלחמת התודעה מתנהלת בשלל מקומות וזירות וזו אחת החשובות שבהן. אוניברסיטאות משמשות כ״מלבינות״ של שקרים ועלילות דם נגד ישראל ונותנות להם מכובדות. 2) יש חשיבות אדירה להגיע למקומות הללו מוכנים וכן - עובדות זה דבר חשוב - התוצאות היו 208 מול 129 לנו, שבהינתן הסביבה והקהל זה הישג מרשים ביותר. מתוך אלה שהצביעו לנו באו אלינו כמה בסוף להגיד שהם מאוד העריכו שהתייחסנו ברצינות לדיון והבאנו עובדות ולא צרחנו. אפשר לשכנע. כל מי שמוותרים מראש לא מבינים שמסוכן מאוד להשאיר את הזירה ריקה. 3) משהו על המצב היהודי - היה מאוד ברור שמן הצד השני לא היה מאמץ בכלל לטעון טיעונים רציניים, לא היתה הכנה ותיאום - ומבחינתם אין שום סיבה, כי הם כבר רגילים שמספיק לומר אפרטהייד ורצח עם ומחיאות הכפיים מובטחות. מצד שני, יש בכך הזדמנות - עצלנות וזלזול שנובעות מכך שקל מדי הן תמיד נקודות תורפה. אנחנו שידענו שמצבנו קשה התכוננו, תיאמנו ודאגנו שנהיה מאוד מדויקים - אין ספק שקושי מחדד את המחשבה. 4) ועכשיו משהו על פוליטיקה - אחת הסיבות שאני מתמודדת בראשות מפלגה היא שאין היום אף ראש מפלגה שבאמת מבין את גודל האתגר של מלחמת התודעה בעולם שמנוהלת נגד ישראל והציונות ומוכן להשקיע מאמץ להיאבק באופן מערכתי - כלומר, לא לתת נאום פה או שם - אלא באמת לבנות מערך (שלא תלוי באדם אחד או באנגלית של אדם אחד) של מיטב הישראלים (ויש רבים) בשלל שפות, שיודעים להתמודד, שמכירים את העובדות, שנמצאים כל הזמן בזירה ולא משאירים אותה ריקה לרגע, שמבינים את האופן שבו המלחמה נגד ישראל והציונות והמתקפה על היהודים בעולם פועלת ודואגים לפעול כל העת.

אשוב ואומר, כל הדיונים על מה ישראל היתה עושה בשעות שלפני הפלישה והטבח - העירו אותי, הייתי עושה, גנרלים - מבוססים על הסתכלות בקורקבן הישראלי כאילו אין בצד השני אויב שצופה ולומד. אם ישראל היתה נערכת לפלישה, החמאס לא היה מוציא אותה לפועל באותו היום, ואז היתה מתחזקת ההנחה ששוב היה תרגיל אבו-עלי של חמאס, ולכן צריך לתת להם יותר כסף, והפלישה היתה מתרחשת בחג ישראלי אחר. זו תפיסת ביטחון עקומה שקיימת מראש הממשלה ועד מערכת הביטחון (עדיין!) שעוסקת רק בהאם האויב יורה עלי כרגע או לא, ומסרבת להתמודד עם שאלות היסוד של האידיאולוגיה שמזינה את התחמשות האויב ולכן היא חוזרת גם עכשיו (!) לפתוח מעברים, לשפץ ולהרחיב, להכניס משאיות, סחר, שיקום תברואה וכל דבר שפשוט מתנהל כאילו לא למדנו כלום. אולי יש יותר התקפיות צבאית אבל התמודדות עם האידיאולוגיה ומה שמזין אותה, התקפיות תודעתית - יוק.

Al Jazeera just ran a documentary about UNRWA where I am quoted extensively (compilation here thanks to Mo Ghaoui). So now the question is: 1) Is Al Jazeera really allowing for a serious examination of the disaster that is the ideology of Palestinianism - or 2) They think that combining the worst of Arab and Islamic attitudes towards Jews with western antisemitic and antizionist themes is a good thing?

הכל נכון. העבודה של יוליה היא דוגמא חשובה לאיך בעבודת כנסת נכונה אפשר להכריח את הממשלה לעשות את הדבר הנכון גם כשהממשלה לא מאוד רוצה.
Worse. It’s much more than just another war crime. It all is. The entire way that this war on Israel is fought is by erasing the most fundamental line that upholds the whole idea of laws of war - that there is a distinction that should be visible between combatant and civilian.

מה קרה אתמול וכולם מדברים עליו, אבל לא מאוד חשוב? הפריימריז בליכוד (ולא, אני ממש לא אדישה לשמחה המאחדת רבים בעם בנושא סילמן). מה קרה אתמול וכמעט לא מדברים עליו, אבל מאוד מאוד חשוב? עוד התקפלות בעזה. כבר אפילו לא מחכים לפירוק חמאס מנשקו שגם זו מטרה לא רצינית. בעקבות ביקורו של קושנר אתמול הוסכם על הקמת שני מסלולים. אז עכשיו ממקבלים. במסלול אחד ידברו על פירוק מנשק, ובמסלול המקביל כבר יתחילו לטפל ב״תברואה״ - כלומר צינורות, מלט, עבודות. שיקום, רק בלי לקרוא לזה שיקום (וכזכור הצינורות והמלט בכל הפעמים הקודמות לא בדיוק שימשו ל״תברואה״). וככה, בשקט, אנחנו שוב מוותרים על ההזדמנות לעצב מחדש את עזה. לא רק לפרק נשק, אלא לפרק את האידיאולוגיה של אנשיה. יום אחרי יום אנחנו מפספסים את ההזדמנות הזאת. וכבר אי אפשר לומר שזה בטעות.
