Just spit balling here, but maybe condemn Hamas for kidnapping toddlers and grandparents, shooting children in front of their parents, shooting parents in front of their children, murdering Palestinians who had the temerity to express their disapproval of Hamas on social media, stealing food meant for the population they purport to govern, imposing a fanatic and corrupt regime on Gazans, starting a war and then hiding beneath hospitals, schools and mosques.
Piker and his fellow travelers are not trying to have a respectful debate. They want to take over. The socialists are setting litmus tests. Unless you agree with the Gaza genocide lie, you should be purged. So let’s stop pretending the Mao loving dog shocker is persecuted.
A few points on the latest info op. 1) This is really an argument to say it should be socially acceptable to intimidate, harass and defame Jews who believe the Jewish state should exist. 2) the vast majority of Jews believe Israel should exist. Yes there are the As-A-Jews. But they are outliers inside the Jewish community and mainly serve to provide legitimacy for the anti-Israel hate movement. 3) Hassan Piker and the other socialists single out Israel, but they also hate America. Historically the unpatriotic left has repelled average American voters. But their slogans are popular with academics and downwardly mobile graduates of elite universities. 4) Couching a hate movement’s agenda as concern for a religious minority is sort of clever. But it is nonetheless concern trolling. The objective is to silence American Zionists and blame the actions of domestic terrorists on their victims.
