The U.S. stated they are investigating the deadly explosion at a wedding in southern Iran, which killed at least five people and wounded roughly 68 others. Sources inside Iran claimed at the time that the explosion was caused by a misfired IRGC missile. However, independent weapons experts who reviewed images of the damage believe it may be consistent with a direct hit by a U.S. munition. CENTCOM says it does not target civilians, and the incident remains under investigation.
