Human development must drive economic growth, not the other way around. For Least Developed ountries, progress starts with tackling hunger through agtech and fair farmer prices, investing in healthcare, education and safety, decentralising power, protecting free expression, and respecting dissent. Wealthy nations must match the benefits they derive from resources and labour with accountability on aid and climate finance. Compassion and justice must replace extraction.
