It’s all happened. So no, I will not stand by quietly as it happens again. And guess what, if I had described to you 10 years ago what the situation is today, you would’ve thought I was crazy. You would’ve told me that will never happen in America, and if it does, you’re not sticking around. I grew up my entire childhood wondering how the German Jews didn’t leave. I never understood it. I really am. Truly. But keep in mind that German Jews would have been offended too had I told them what I’m telling you now. Two. Days. Before. And a month before Bondi, I said that there is going to be a mass casualty event at a place where many Jews hang out. One month before. How did I know those things? I didn’t. I’m not a prophet but I do have my eyes open and the writing is ALL OVER the wall. It’s about to get much worse and fast. I can think of countless scenarios in which the west turns completely on the Jews. I am not going to go into them now but just think what happens when America stops having our back. The entire world will follow. Why would America turn on us? Again, many possible scenarios. The narrative today that America went to war with Iran for Israel is extremely dangerous and explosive. It’s making millions of Americans hate Israel, and by extension, Jews. That’s just one example but there are countless other scenarios. Do I think there will be concentration camps in America? No. Although, there has already been an American politician who called for Camps for Zionists. Yes, really. Google it. “Give me a break. She’s nuts. No one takes her seriously.” And the same for Dan Belzerian. A total Jew hater no one takes seriously. Now let’s think, what other politician did everyone dismiss as being crazy? Hint. He had a mustache. So, no, I won’t keep quiet. I refuse to sit back and let it happen again. I refuse to not use my platform. So, yes, Jews need to come home and I am not going into the debate of whether Israel is perfect. It isn’t. Far from it. Then again, no house is. What family doesn’t have sibling rivalry? What household doesn’t have politics? We have many challenges here in Israel! All the more reason more Jews need to come home. They need to help us improve this country and build the future of the Jewish people. More Jews here means a stronger economy. More Jews here means more safety and security. More Jews here means better demographics. It’s time. You don’t like hearing it? I am sorry, but sometimes it’s hard to hear the truth. The bottom line is, maybe I’m wrong. It won’t be the first time. But I don’t think I am and history is on my side here. If learning from history has taught us anything, it’s that we don’t learn from history. Let’s not repeat that mistake. Open a history book and put the wheels in motion. Not everyone can pick up and leave now. Of course not. Just make sure your passport is valid and you have a plan if and when I turn out to be right. Nothing would make me happier than to be wrong here. Spoiler: I’m not. Come home. Here’s the thing though. Antisemitism should not be the reason to come to Israel. Come to Israel because Israel is awesome. Antisemitism can be a strong catalyst or trigger. The way I see it, the Jew haters hate you and me because of our Jewish identity. They recognize how unique we are. So if they hate you for your identity, you might as well own your identity! And part of your identity as a Jew, whether you realize it or not and whether you like it or not is Israel. This is your home. This is where you will succeed not despite being a Jew but BECAUSE you’re a Jew. This is where you’re not a minority. This is where you have an army dedicated to your safety and yes, an army that failed on that day, but that doesn’t change the fact that the IDF is one of the strongest and most sophisticated armies in the world and its entire existence is to protect you. No, you don’t need Hebrew to live here. No, you don’t need to lower your quality of life. No, you don’t have to cut your salary in half. No, you are not living in a war zone here with bombs falling on your head. No, you don’t need to come with big money to make it here. No, you don’t need family to make it here. We are your family. All you need is one thing, the right mindset. If you come here with the mindset that this is your home and you’re gonna make it work, then you’ll make it work. For every one family who doesn’t make it here, thousands do! Nefesh B’Nefesh has 92% retention. 92% stay and 8% leave. So yes, you can come here and build an incredible life for yourself here and that’s true whether you’re 22 years old or 92. You hate the internal fighting? Come here and fix it. Like I said, we’re not perfect but we are building an amazing future for the jewish people over here. Our trajectory is a very positive one. I can’t say the same for Jews in America, not to mention the UK, Australia, Canada, and countless other places. Boggles my mind that they are not getting out. Come home. We’re waiting eagerly for you and the shawarma is getting cold! But the bottom line is, I will not remain quiet about this and neither should you! Quand le rabbin Ben-Tzion Goldfischer me demande d’aller quelque part, je demande : « Quand ? » Je parle habituellement de l’actualité, de l’avenir du peuple juif, et j’essaie d’ajouter quelques mots sur la Torah et l’Aliyah. La conférence d’aujourd’hui était un peu plus axée sur le thème de l’Aliyah et j’ai été agréablement surpris par le nombre de jeunes femmes qui m’ont dit qu’elles feraient leur Aliyah dans un avenir proche. Comme me l’a dit récemment un ami, un nouveau mouvement voit des enfants faire venir leurs parents en Aliyah, et non l’inverse. Je mesure toujours l’efficacité de mes conférences au nombre de questions qui suivent, et grâce à Dieu, il y a eu aujourd’hui beaucoup de questions sur l’Aliyah et sur Dieu. À l’année prochaine (après la venue du Machia’h, la conférence sera donc un peu différente).

Nous étions en 2013, et mon bon ami @jonmedved m’a contacté pour me dire qu’il avait une idée dont il aimerait discuter avec moi. Comme on le fait dans ce genre de cas, nous nous sommes retrouvés autour de steaks. Au déjeuner, Jon m’a exposé une idée qu’il avait pour un nouveau type de fonds, un fonds qui permettrait aux gens « ordinaires » d’investir dans la technologie. Il comptait l’appeler « @OurCrowd ». Nous en avons discuté et, si je me souviens bien, je lui ai donné des avis assez honnêtes et directs sur les raisons pour lesquelles je pensais que cette idée serait presque impossible à mettre en œuvre. Je n’avais pas pris une chose en compte. Je parlais à Jon Medved, et Jon Medved ne connaît pas le mot impossible. Eh bien, si vous travaillez dans la technologie, vous connaissez la suite de l’histoire. OurCrowd est devenue l’investisseur le plus actif d’Israël, avec certaines des plus grandes entreprises du monde dans son portefeuille. La vérité, c’est que je ne savais pas exactement quoi dire à Jon, alors je n’ai rien dit. Jon a quitté son rôle actif chez OurCrowd et a passé les rênes à l’excellente équipe qu’il avait constituée autour de lui. Jon a veillé à ce que, malgré tous ses défis personnels, OurCrowd continue, et continue de toutes ses forces. Puis, il y a une semaine et demie, alors que je me préparais à prendre l’avion pour une semaine très intense de huit conférences dans de nombreuses villes et plusieurs États, Jon m’a appelé. J’étais d’abord un peu sans voix. Avec tout ce qu’il traversait, pourquoi m’appelait-il ? Jon Medved m’a rappelé qu’il pouvait faire l’impossible, puis il m’a expliqué qu’il avait construit quelque chose, un outil que je pourrais utiliser pendant mon voyage. Il savait que j’allais parler de l’Aliyah, alors il voulait me parler de cet outil avant mon départ. Je parlerai davantage du produit plus tard, mais qu’il suffise de dire qu’il est brillant ! Aujourd’hui, j’étais à Jérusalem, alors j’ai écrit à Jon pour lui demander s’il accepterait de recevoir un visiteur. Il m’a dit de venir ! Nous avons passé une bonne heure à parler d’Israël, de technologie, de Dieu, de famille, de géopolitique et de bien d’autres choses encore. Jon fait face à tout cela comme un chef, en homme fort et puissant qui affronte sa maladie. Mais c’est Jon Medved ! Je n’ai pas été surpris lorsqu’il m’a dit que les médecins étaient perplexes devant sa résilience. Il défie les probabilités et combat cette maladie de la seule manière que Jon Medved connaisse. Jon, il y a énormément de gens qui t’aiment et te respectent, non seulement pour ce que tu as fait pour Israël, mais pour la personne que tu es ! Tu as fait l’impossible de nombreuses fois au cours de ta vie, et je prie pour que tu fasses de même avec la SLA. Jon a encore beaucoup de travail à accomplir ici et, bien qu’il soit toujours aussi déterminé, j’ai vu aujourd’hui une autre facette de lui, et c’est une facette qui me le fait aimer encore davantage. Je partagerai le nouveau produit qu’il a créé dès que j’aurai le feu vert. Mais le plus important, c’est que, alors que je rendais visite à un ami malade, ce n’est pas lui qui a quitté la rencontre avec une force et une résilience nouvelles. C’était moi.

The termination of British activities to train Palestinian Authority forces in Judea and Samaria under the “British Support Team in Ramallah.” 4. The denial of entry to Israel to 12 British elected representatives and other British nationals involved in antisemitic and anti-Israel activity, as well as those who deny the very existence of the State of Israel. Foreign Minister Sa’ar made the following statement: “Today, with the agreement of Prime Minister Netanyahu, I decided on a series of Israeli countermeasures in response to the series of new sanctions announced today by the British Foreign Secretary of the Labour Government and following a series of anti-Israel decisions by the Labour Government. The accusations made today by the Foreign Secretary of the Labour Government in the British Parliament were outrageous lies. Let me make this clear from the outset: we have nothing against the British people. We know that we have many friends in Britain. Unfortunately, a hostile Labour Government is in office, systematically acting against the State of Israel, and it has left us with no choice but to finally respond to its hostile actions. The decision by the Labour Government in Britain to initiate a series of severe sanctions against the communities in Judea and Samaria, as well as additional sanctions concerning arms, was announced by Mr. Miliband immediately after he spoke about Israel’s right to defend itself. A bit of a self-contradiction. They chose to do this, on the eve of the holiest days in the Jewish calendar, for domestic political reasons, ahead of the Labour Party Conference taking place this month. The British move is morally distorted and constitutes blatant interference in the affairs of a sovereign state and in its electoral process. The attempt by the British Labour Government to impose measures in the style of the “White Paper” carries echoes of the antisemitic words of British Lieutenant-General Barker, commander of British forces in the Land of Israel during the Mandate, who said: “punish the Jews by striking at their pockets.” The Jewish people have the right to live throughout the Land of Israel. The connection and right of the Jewish people to this land are documented more extensively than those of any other people in human history. The move by the Labour Government in Britain is particularly absurd given that, more than a century ago, it was the Balfour Declaration of the British Government that formally recognised the historic right of the Jewish people to re-establish their national home in the Land of Israel, including in Judea and Samaria. This declaration served as the foundation for the British Mandate, was recognised by the League of Nations, and was subsequently incorporated into Article 80 of the United Nations Charter. A boycott of goods from Judea and Samaria is a despicable practice that harms hard-working, law-abiding citizens. The Labour Government has decided to employ this practice of boycotts and BDS only against the Jewish state. Contrary to the false claims of the Labour Government, no new decisions have been made regarding development in E1. The decision was taken more than a year ago, and the tender process has been underway for many months. The claims regarding the severing of potential Palestinian territorial contiguity are also baseless. The decision of the Government of Israel, taken more than a year ago, stipulated that two roads would be built: the first, Road 80, which will serve as a major transportation route from the Bethlehem area to the Ramallah area; the second, known as the “Fabric of Life” Road, between a-Za’im and al-Ezariya. The claim of harm to “Palestinian territorial contiguity” sounds particularly ridiculous coming from those who insist on defining Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip as “one territorial unit.” The decision of the Labour Government also constitutes a gross interference in the electoral process of a sovereign state. This is a blatant and completely unacceptable attempt by a foreign government to exert external influence in the midst of an election campaign. However, the Israeli public overwhelmingly supports the communities in Judea and Samaria, and overwhelmingly opposes the establishment of a Palestinian terror state in the heart of our land. This is something that the Labour Government is attempting, through measures that are doomed to fail, to force upon Israel. It will not work. After everything we have seen, after the Israeli concessions in the Oslo Accords and the unilateral withdrawal from Gaza, the Second Intifada and October 7, the Israeli public utterly rejects the establishment of a jihadist terror state in the heart of our land. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is an age-old conflict. Unfortunately, the Palestinians have always rejected proposals to resolve it and have never abandoned terrorism and incitement. This conflict will not be resolved through declarations from London or Paris, and a one-sided, anti-Israel approach only pushes the possibility of reaching a solution further away rather than bringing it closer. It is particularly astonishing that governments such as the Labour Government do not even consider imposing sanctions on the Palestinian Authority for its systematic financial support for terrorism through the notorious payment mechanism known as “Pay For Slay.” This one-sided approach also ignores the continuing Palestinian terrorism against Israeli civilians, which we saw in action again this week. I say to the Labour Government and to every government in the world that thinks it can force Israel to act against our national and security interests: You have no chance of succeeding. We did not return to our land after 2,000 years only to lose it under pressure from jihadists, Islamists, antisemites, far-leftists and wokes. Not only will you fail to harm us. You will harm yourselves and your own influence. And take note: the Palestinians will also be directly harmed by your measures. There are tens of thousands of Palestinian workers employed in our communities, and these sanctions will harm them. Nor will the Palestinian Authority, which stands behind various such moves, be immune. The latest decision by the Labour Government joins an increasingly escalating series of unilateral measures against Israel adopted by the hostile Labour Government since it took office in July 2024. These measures have included, among other things, recognition of a virtual “Palestinian state” in September 2025; the resumption of funding for UNRWA, even though its employees were actively involved in the October 7 massacre; the suspension of licences for defence exports to Israel, and today we learned of the intention to expand these restrictions; sanctions on Israeli ministers; sanctions on Israeli individuals and entities; the suspension of negotiations on a free trade agreement; restrictions on Israel’s official participation in the international defence and security equipment exhibition in Britain; the freezing of military dialogue and security cooperation; preventing IDF officers from participating in training at the Royal College of Defence Studies; and the promotion of repeated, biased and one-sided attacks against Israel in the international arena. These measures by the Labour Government in Britain, along with biased and one-sided anti-Israel rhetoric, have already contributed significantly to the unprecedented rise in antisemitic attacks, including violent attacks against British Jews. In light of all this, I have decided, as stated, with the agreement of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on the following Israeli countermeasures: 1. The closure of the British Consulate in Jerusalem. United Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and is under its full sovereignty. Any activity by a foreign state within it must be carried out with the consent of the State of Israel. Any foreign activity in the area must be conducted through accepted and agreed channels and without violating Israel’s sovereignty. 2. The removal of British representatives from the International Gaza Support Center in Kiryat Gat. 3. The termination of British activities to train Palestinian Authority forces in Judea and Samaria under the “British Support Team in Ramallah.” 4. J’ai de bonnes nouvelles et de mauvaises nouvelles. Par lesquelles dois-je commencer ? Les bonnes nouvelles ? D’accord, la bonne nouvelle, c’est que les gens commencent à se réveiller et à comprendre qu’il est temps de rentrer chez eux. Je vois clairement un changement. Les mauvaises nouvelles ? Cela ne se produit pas assez vite et le temps ne joue PAS en notre faveur. Je m’avance un peu…Il y a environ 15 ans, nous avons acheté notre première maison. Elle se trouvait à Beit Shemesh et c’était vraiment une maison de rêve pour commencer. Nous l’aimons toujours ! Nous avons fait comme la plupart des gens : nous avons versé le montant minimum et pris un prêt hypothécaire pour acheter la maison. Quinze ans plus tard, son prix avait littéralement quadruplé. Maintenant, nous vendons la maison et améliorons notre vie. Nous avons acheté une maison à Eden Hills, un projet situé juste à l’extérieur de Beit Shemesh, où nous concevons la maison et espérons emménager dans l’année. Les maisons individuelles deviennent une denrée rare en Israël et, après avoir étudié le projet, nous avons décidé de franchir le pas et d’acheter. Nous vendons donc notre maison de Beit Shemesh, une maison qui serait absolument parfaite pour une nouvelle famille d’olim. J’en parlerai davantage dans un autre post, mais si vous cherchez à acheter, contactez-moi !!Quoi qu’il en soit, nous sommes très enthousiastes à propos de la nouvelle maison et l’un des meilleurs aspects de sa construction pour notre avenir est de travailler avec Ariel Kotler, le promoteur d’Eden Hills et de nombreuses autres entreprises immobilières à travers Israël. Il y a quelques mois, je discutais avec Ariel et nous avons eu une idée folle. Et si nous faisions un voyage aux États-Unis pour organiser des réunions dans des salons à travers le pays, où je parlerais de l’aliya et d’Eden Hills ? C’était un projet ! Eh bien, nous avons vraiment tout casé ! Nous avons atterri à Miami mardi dernier et sommes allés directement à Boca, où j’ai donné ma première conférence sur l’aliya et Eden Hills. Après Boca, nous sommes allés à Livingston, dans le New Jersey, à Teaneck, dans le New Jersey, à Cedarhurst, dans l’État de New York, à Fair Lawn, dans le New Jersey, à Great Neck, dans l’État de New York, puis à deux autres conférences à Los Angeles ! Comme vous pouvez l’imaginer, j’ai la tête qui tourne !Chaque endroit a attiré un public unique et m’a donné le plaisir de rencontrer tant de vieux amis d’enfance et de nouveaux amis avec qui j’étais en contact en ligne, mais que je n’avais jamais rencontrés. Organiser ce voyage a été un cauchemar logistique, alors le fait que des gens soient réellement venus à chaque endroit était assez extraordinaire. J’ai adapté la conférence à chaque lieu. Certaines conférences étaient davantage axées sur l’aliya, d’autres sur Eden Hills, et d’autres encore sur Israël et l’avenir du peuple juif. La plupart des conférences combinaient les trois sujets.Les réactions ont été absolument incroyables et, d’après les réponses, j’ai envie de croire que nous avons rapproché beaucoup de gens de l’aliya cette semaine. Sur un plan plus personnel, quand on passe toute la journée, tous les jours, avec quelqu’un, on apprend à le connaître. Et je dois dire que j’aimais déjà Ariel, mais maintenant, après avoir passé tout ce temps ensemble, je peux affirmer avec confiance que le fait de lui acheter la maison, plutôt qu’à quelqu’un d’autre, m’apporte une véritable tranquillité d’esprit. C’est un vrai mensch !Nous avons relevé de nombreux points communs au fil des conférences, mais le principal est une ouverture manifeste à l’aliya. Les gens commencent vraiment à comprendre qu’Israël est leur foyer et l’endroit où ils veulent bâtir leur avenir. Comme l’a dit Ariel, on peut venir en Israël pour l’une de deux raisons, et ces deux raisons utilisent les mêmes lettres en hébreu. On peut venir en Israël par « Bchira », le choix, ou par « Bricha », la fuite. Nous voulons viser la première, pas la seconde. L’antisémitisme ne devrait pas être la raison pour laquelle vous rentrez chez vous. Au mieux, il devrait être un catalyseur.J’ai aussi beaucoup appris sur les différentes entreprises et les investissements d’Ariel. Pour résumer, si j’avais de l’argent à investir et/ou si je voulais acheter un bien immobilier en Israël, je contacterais très certainement Ariel, et vous devriez en faire autant ! Certaines histoires de la semaine passée resteront avec moi pour toujours, dont une en particulier. Hier soir, après ma dernière conférence, je suis resté pour répondre aux questions et j’ai aperçu du coin de l’œil un homme qui attendait patiemment. Il m’a dit de laisser tout le monde passer avant lui parce qu’il voulait me parler en privé. Après le départ de tout le monde, cet homme d’une soixantaine d’années s’est approché de moi, les larmes aux yeux, et m’a dit qu’il voulait me donner quelque chose. « Qu’est-ce que cela pouvait bien être ? Qu’allait me donner cet inconnu ? Peut-être un joli témoignage de reconnaissance ? Peut-être une montre ? » Il a alors ouvert son sac et m’a tendu une housse de talit contenant un talit et des tefillin. Ce sont les objets que nous portons lorsque nous prions.Il m’a ensuite expliqué, en tremblant et en essuyant ses larmes, qu’il avait récemment vidé l’appartement de sa sœur après son décès et qu’il y avait découvert le talit et les tefillin de son père défunt. Il m’a expliqué qu’il n’avait pas de famille proche ni personne à qui les donner pour qu’ils puissent être transmis de génération en génération. Il m’a ensuite raconté que son père était enterré près de Beit Shemesh, où je vis, et m’a remis une photo de la pierre tombale de son père. Il m’a demandé si j’accepterais d’aller sur la tombe de son père en portant son talit et d’y dire une petite prière. Il m’a dit qu’au vu de l’âge atteint par ses parents et ses frères et sœurs, il ne lui restait plus beaucoup de temps et qu’il ne voulait pas que ce talit et ces tefillin finissent à la poubelle.Je lui ai assuré qu’ils étaient entre de bonnes mains, que j’irais visiter la tombe de son père, que je dirais une prière et que je lui enverrais une photo de moi sur place. Les larmes coulaient, pas seulement les siennes, mais aussi les miennes. Il m’a donné le sac, nous nous sommes embrassés et avons échangé nos coordonnées pour rester en contact. Au cours de la semaine, alors que nous allions d’un endroit à l’autre, il est devenu évident que les Juifs renouent avec leurs racines, se réengagent, assument leur identité plus que jamais et réfléchissent à leur avenir ainsi qu’à celui de toute leur nation.Parmi les sujets sur lesquels j’ai axé mes conférences figuraient les idées fausses concernant :- gagner sa vie en Israël- la possibilité de s’offrir un bien immobilier en Israël- le système scolaire israélien- le système médical israélien- la sécurité en IsraëlJ’ai également partagé avec eux de nouveaux outils, notamment un calculateur en ligne qui compare le coût de la vie à l’extérieur et à l’intérieur d’Israël en fonction de votre situation personnelle. (La différence est énorme. Si vous êtes un Juif religieux, la vie aux États-Unis est infiniment plus chère ! Je partagerai le site plus tard !) Je ne vais pas mentir : je suis arrivé aux États-Unis assez pessimiste quant à l’avenir des Juifs de la diaspora, et j’en repars avec un nouvel espoir pour l’avenir, qui ne fera que s’améliorer pour nous, les Juifs, mais pas vraiment pour nos ennemis ! Am Yisrael Hai et Chana Tova ! Maintenant, ramenez-moi chez moi, bon sang !!

Andrew Buckley, alias David Wallace de The Office !!! Quoiiii ??? Je n’ai pas les mots. Quel homme charmant ! Je suis le plus grand fan de The Office ! C’était au-delà de tout !!!
