כמו כל איש ציבור שהיה פעיל תקופה ארוכה כל כך כמו הרבובדיה, אפשר למצוא המון דוגמאות לאמירות סותרות שלו. היתה לו שיטה מקורית, מרתקת ודי עקבית בפסיקת הלכה, אבל בכל מה שנוגע להנהגה ציבורית, היה הפכפך, נתון ללחצים, נוח לחנופה, ומקבל החלטות הפוכות בהתאם לאינטרסים אישיים ופוליטיים
נאמר זאת כך. אם הימצאות פרמדקית בנמ״ר הצדיקה ביטול משימה מבצעית, כנראה שהרבה ממשימות צה״ל במעמקי הרצועה אינם באמת נצרכים והגיע הזמן לדון ביעילות השהות שם. רצוי מאוד שלא ייקח 15 שנה כמו שהיה עם רצועת הביטחון בלבנון. כמו כן, מעניין שכשמדובר בתקיפת כפר פלסטיני בגדה, אפשר לחלל שבת
אגב אלטלנה, נתניהו גדל על תיעוב עמוק כלפי בגין. אביו סירב להיות חבר בחרות ובליכוד בימי בגין (ואפילו תמך במפלגה רוויזיוניסטית מתחרה). הוא ראה בו יורש לא-ראוי לז׳בוטינסקי. כיום נתניהו חסיד תפיסת ארז תדמור שבגין היה ראש ממשלה חלש שהתרפס בפני השמאל. הוא מזכיר את בגין רק בתקופת בחירות
היה פעם ראש אופוזיציה שדרש אבטחת שב״כ. השב״כ לא חשב שהיתה לכך הצדקה. ראש הממשלה החליט בכל זאת להיעתר לבקשת ראש האופוזיציה. מי היה ראש האופוזיציה? מי היה ראש הממשלה? ובמי מהם בסוף התנקשו?

הדוקטור לשנאה שוב ושוב מתעלם מהאמת הבסיסית שאין שום חרם. יש עקרון שנקבע בפוליטיקה הישראלית שאדם שנאשם בפלילים לא יכול לכהן כראש ממשלה. רבין הכיר בכך והתפטר. אולמרט הכיר בכך. וגם נתניהו הטיף בעוז לעקרון הזה כשהיה מדובר בראש ממשלה אחר. לא חרם, לא הגמוניה, לא דיכוי. נורמה בסיסית
