Asked @eaglesonbrett of 9/11 Justice what he thought about the petition against Mayor Mamdani attending 9/11 commemoration. He said “I think it’s extremely unfortunate a fringe group of families made this racist petition. It’s horrible for our community and does nothing to further justice for us. It’s a complete distraction from our fight for accountability from Saudi Arabia 25 years later. The majority of the people who signed it are actually not even 9/11 family members.”
