Efrat Advances 500-Home Mordot HaZayit Plan With 15-Storey Towers

Efrat Local Council is advancing a Mordot HaZayit phase with about 500 homes, public buildings, commercial space and assisted living, including the community's first residential towers at 12 to 15 storeys. The neighborhood would descend the slope below the existing Zayit area and help link Efrat toward planned growth at Givat HaEitam. The council's official project page describes a broader plan of about 750 homes with schools, synagogues and a large urban park, while the new report covers the current 500-home phase. The plan remains in the planning process.
