Sánchez Accuses Israeli-Linked Networks Over Ceuta Disinformation

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said in a radio interview that social-media networks linked to Russia and Israel, along with an international far-right network, spread false claims around the July 30-31 attempted mass entry into Ceuta. He alleged the networks exploit migration to divide Spain and Europe and tied their attacks on his government to its positions on Gaza and Ukraine. Sánchez said Spain’s CNI provided situation reports but did not warn of the crisis’s magnitude. He denied Morocco’s government organized the influx, praised its immediate cooperation and said the precise causes remained under investigation.
