The TA-90 index closed at 3,893.81 on Tuesday, gaining 2.61% from its 3,794.87 base, official Tel Aviv Stock Exchange data showed. The index opened at 3,791.10, reached an intraday high of 3,906.40 and did not trade below its opening level. Turnover in TA-90 constituents totaled about NIS 1.315 billion, while their combined market capitalization stood at about NIS 477.68 billion. The advance followed an August 31 session in which the index ended at 3,794.87, down 0.12%.
