SolarEdge Says 800 VDC Conversion Runs Under Load in Its Labs

SolarEdge says its three-phase medium-voltage-to-800 VDC conversion stage is operating under load in company engineering labs, with full-system power-path validation underway. The Israeli company also says it worked with Nvidia on a vendor-neutral framework for protection and grounding in 800 VDC AI data centers. Nvidia says its 800 VDC architecture is intended to power the next generation of AI factories. The SolarEdge products remain in development and are not generally available. Nvidia was not identified as a customer, and SolarEdge disclosed no purchase order, commercial supply contract or deal value.
