Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy says the kingdom shut down the East-West Pipeline as a precaution after multiple attacks on September 10 in the Riyadh and Madinah regions. According to the ministry statement, the attacks caused several injuries, and emergency teams were dispatched to secure the system and assess damage. The ministry did not identify who carried out the attacks or say when pipeline operations would resume. The development is significant because the East-West Pipeline, or Petroline, is one of Saudi Arabia’s most important strategic oil routes, carrying crude from the kingdom’s eastern fields to the Red Sea port of Yanbu and allowing exports to bypass the Strait of Hormuz. Israeli troops dismantled most of a Hezbollah tunnel network spanning more than 5.4 kilometers beneath southern Lebanon’s Ali al-Taher Ridge after months of operations, according to an IDF official. The network comprised eight underground routes and served as a central command center for Hezbollah’s Badr Unit. Troops found explosive drones, anti-tank missiles, machine guns, and hundreds of mines and other explosives, the official said. Israeli forces secured control above and below ground on the ridge overlooking Nabatieh. Some Hezbollah fighters fled, while others were killed during the operation.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad claims that early Friday morning, "collaborator" militia forces backed by Israeli drones tried to abduct a member near al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis. PIJ fighters engaged the infiltrating force at close range, reportedly killing/wounding several. As the force withdrew, aided by drone cover, its members allegedly shot and killed the fighter they had abducted, Fadi Ali Saeed al-Abadla, leaving his body behind. The group confirms al-Abadla was a member of its al-Qarara Battalion, Khan Younis Brigade.
