As has often been the case with the Iran war, some observers are being too hasty in making conclusions about who is “winning” or “losing” in each episode. Better to keep the focus on the longterm, big picture of which my assessment is unchanged: eventual end of Iran’s dominance.
Great news for Syria. That leaves Iran as the only Middle Eastern country designated by the US as a State Sponsor of Terrorism, and rightly so.
