𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗛 I am deeply saddened by the clashes that occurred today in the city of Galkayo, particularly on the Galmudug side, which resulted in casualties and injuries. I strongly condemn this incident and any actions that could lead to renewed instability and conflict. I pray to Allah (SWT) to grant a swift recovery to the Governor and all the security personnel who were injured in today's clashes in Galkayo. My thoughts are also with the families of those affected, and I share in their grief and concern during this difficult time. According to reports, this incident was triggered by the arrival of illegal weapons in South Galkayo, allegedly intended to undermine the peace and coexistence between the people of Puntland and Galmudug. I call on all Somalis, especially the people of Galmudug and Puntland, to safeguard their bonds of brotherhood, exercise restraint, and refrain from any actions that could inflame tensions or deepen divisions. I also urge the international community to closely monitor the situation and support ongoing efforts to preserve peace and stability. Finally, I wish to emphasize that political power or personal interests must never be pursued by fueling civil conflict. Somalia has already paid a heavy price for internal strife and continues to bear its painful consequences. It is our shared responsibility to ensure that our country never returns to those dark chapters of its history.
