The thing about Dr Tlaleng Mofokeng is... I believe her. I just don't believe the party behind her. Not with how Malema keeps popping up at Madlanga and the many issues prior (VBS, On Point Engineering, Tshwane and Jhb alleged tender kickbacks). She may have the best interests of Joburg at heart and visionary ideas, but can she stop the graft her own party keeps getting tangled up in? It seems to be at the core of their politics. And that's the tragic contradiction of the EFF right there. Great ideas - and those who genuinely believe in them - but all betrayed by a criminal core. https://t.co/L1xRM4PSEE
The ANC's list drama ahead of the local government elections is just embarassing. The party can't even meet a basic deadline or get ID numbers right. Meanwhile over at the DA, a liar who faked qualifications is number four for the City of Cape Town. My take below: https://t.co/sdLLpUmcEe
I've been thinking about Feroz Khan's alleged depression and PTSD diagnosis, which is why he says he can't testify at the Madlanga Commission. It's such a blatantly cynical exploitation of a legitimate illness that many of us actually suffer with - and still have to work through. My take below. . Forgive me if this is a bit dated, shot last week and only getting up now. 😅
My video take 👇🏾 As noted above, even if the polls are accurate, it's still important to disclose the conflict of interest. Imagine if research into lung cancer was funded by tobacco companies and not declared? If there is an obvious partisan interest behind any research it should be declared and acknowledged by journalists covering said research. (And yes I know Victory called ANC and DA numbers closely in 2024. That wasn't the point.)
