Technology shares advanced 2.51% and construction 3.54%, with Tower Semiconductor leading trading on a 5.39% rise and Nova gaining 3.82%. Equity turnover reached NIS 2.96 billion and bond turnover NIS 7.77 billion. The representative dollar rate rose 0.24% to NIS 2.9790, while the euro slipped 0.01% to NIS 3.4681; Ackerstein fell 7.52% and Shufersal 7.33% after weak second-quarter results.
