Pakistan Says All Available Means Can Defend Saudi Arabia Against Houthis

Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said Tuesday that his country would use whatever means were available to defend Saudi Arabia against Houthi attacks. Speaking to reporters in Rome, he said Pakistan's military capabilities would be available under its mutual defense agreement with Saudi Arabia and Türkiye. He described any enemy of Saudi Arabia as an enemy of Pakistan, but did not say whether Pakistani forces had taken part in strikes or whether Riyadh had requested assistance. Military chiefs from the three countries met recently in Riyadh as the alliance works to establish a secretariat.
