A senior White House official said the United States believes Israel is not doing enough to prevent violent settler attacks in Judea and Samaria and expects to raise the issue with the Prime Minister's Office. IDF troops moved to lift a siege on two Palestinian homes in Qusra, where clashes broke out with settlers and the area was declared a closed military zone. Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir ordered forces to restore order, reinforce operational control with an additional infantry battalion, and reiterate conduct and use-of-force rules while continuing counterterrorism and community-defense missions.
