UAE Affirms Commitment to Relations with All Countries in Support of the Interests of Peoples In light of the decision by the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to sever relations with the United Arab Emirates, the UAE reaffirms the importance it attaches to its relations with all countries and its commitment to developing and strengthening them to serve shared interests and promote understanding, cooperation and prosperity. The UAE expresses hope that this decision will be temporary, in a manner that preserves the fraternal ties between the two brotherly peoples. Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirms the UAE’s appreciation for the brotherly Algerian people and its pride in the bonds that unite the two peoples, particularly through the Algerian community residing in the UAE and Algerian visitors. The UAE remains committed to preserving and strengthening these ties and shared interests.
الإمارات تؤكد حرصها على علاقاتها مع جميع الدول بما يخدم مصالح الشعوب في ضوء قرار الجمهورية الجزائرية الديمقراطية الشعبية الشقيقة بقطع علاقاتها مع دولة الإمارات، تؤكد دولة الإمارات تقديرها لعلاقاتها مع جميع الدول، وحرصها الدائم على تطويرها وتعزيزها، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة ويعزز التفاهم والتعاون والازدهار. وتتطلع دولة الإمارات إلى أن يكون هذا القرار مؤقتاً، بما يحفظ الروابط الأخوية بين الشعبين الشقيقين. كما تؤكد وزارة الخارجية تقدير دولة الإمارات للشعب الجزائري الشقيق، واعتزازها بالروابط التي تجمع الشعبين، ولا سيما بأبناء الجالية الجزائرية المقيمة على أرض الدولة والزائرين، وحرصها على استمرار هذه الروابط والمصالح المشتركة وتعزيزها.
Statement by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Response to Media Reporting The Ministry of Foreign Affairs underscores that the UAE Government does not comment on media stories or speculation regarding conversations between government leaders. The UAE’s engagement since October 7 was consistently directed toward de-escalation, regional stability and preventing violence. UAE and Israeli government entities have maintained open and direct lines of communication since the inception of the relationship more than five years ago. When necessary, all relevant intelligence has been and continues to be communicated between the relevant entities.
بيان صادر من وزارة الخارجية بشأن تقارير إعلامية أكدت وزارة الخارجية أن حكومة دولة الإمارات لا تعلق على ما يُنشر في وسائل الإعلام من تقارير أو تكهنات بشأن المحادثات بين قادة الحكومات. ومنذ 7 أكتوبر، تركزت جهود دولة الإمارات على خفض التصعيد، وتعزيز الاستقرار الإقليمي، والحد من العنف. كما حافظت الجهات الحكومية في كل من دولة الإمارات وإسرائيل، منذ بدء العلاقات بين البلدين قبل أكثر من خمس سنوات، على قنوات اتصال مفتوحة ومباشرة. وعند الحاجة، جرى ولا يزال تبادل جميع المعلومات الاستخباراتية ذات الصلة بين الجهات المعنية.

UAE President receives phone call from US President President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received a phone call from US President Donald Trump. During the call, His Highness and President Trump discussed cooperation between the UAE and the United States and ways to further strengthen ties in support of mutual interests. The two leaders also exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to address them.

UAE Strongly Condemns Hostile Iranian Attack on the Country The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the hostile Iranian attack on the country involving a drone that was intercepted by air defence systems over UAE territorial waters, in a dangerous escalation that constitutes a flagrant violation of the country’s sovereignty, security, and stability, and poses a direct threat to the safety of its citizens and residents. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed that these hostile attacks constitute a dangerous escalation, an unacceptable act of aggression, and a direct threat to the UAE’s security, stability, and territorial integrity, in violation of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations. The UAE emphasized that it will not tolerate any threat to its security and sovereignty under any circumstances, and that it reserves its full and legitimate right to respond to these attacks in a manner that ensures the protection of its sovereignty, national security, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens, residents, and visitors, in accordance with international law. The Ministry further underscored that this attack is unequivocally condemned and rejected under all legal and humanitarian norms, stressing the need to immediately halt these attacks and ensure full compliance with the cessation of all hostilities. The UAE holds Iran fully responsible for these attacks and their repercussions.
الإمارات تُدين بشدة الهجوم الإيراني العدواني على الدولة أعربت دولة الإمارات عن إدانتها الشديدة للهجوم الإيراني العدواني على الدولة باستخدام طائرة مسيّرة تم التعامل معها من قبل أنظمة الدفاع الجوي فوق المياه الإقليمية، وذلك في تصعيد خطير يمثّل انتهاكاً صارخاً لسيادة الدولة وأمنها واستقرارها، وتهديداً مباشراً لسلامة المواطنين والمقيمين. وأكدت وزارة الخارجية، في بيان لها، أن هذه الهجمات العدوانية تمثل تصعيداً خطيراً وتعدياً مرفوضاً وتهديداً مباشراً لأمن الدولة واستقرارها وسلامة أراضيها، بما يتعارض مع مبادئ القانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة. وشددت دولة الإمارات على أنها لن تتهاون في حماية أمنها وسيادتها تحت أي ظرف، وأنها تحتفظ بحقها الكامل والمشروع في الرد على هذه الاعتداءات، بما يكفل حماية سيادتها وأمنها الوطني وسلامة أراضيها ومواطنيها والمقيمين فيها وزوارها، وفقاً للقانون الدولي. كما أكدت على أن هذا الاستهداف أمر مدان ومرفوض بكل المقاييس القانونية والإنسانية، مشددة على ضرورة وقف هذه الهجمات العدوانية فورًا، بما يضمن الالتزام الكامل بوقف جميع الأعمال العدائية. وحمّلت دولة الإمارات إيران المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذه الاعتداءات وتداعياتها.

UAE Welcomes US Removal of Syria from the State Sponsors of Terrorism List The United Arab Emirates has welcomed the decision by the United States to remove the Syrian Arab Republic from the list of State Sponsors of Terrorism, regarding it as a positive step in support of Syria’s stability and prosperity. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its appreciation for US President Donald Trump’s efforts in taking this step, which will create broader prospects for revitalizing the economy and attracting investment, and enhance Syria’s integration into the global economy, thereby contributing to strengthening security, stability, and prosperity in the country. The Ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s steadfast support for all efforts aimed at fulfilling the aspirations of the Syrian people for security, stability, peaceful coexistence, and sustainable development.

Director of the Strategic Communications Department at MoFA: All Trade, Commercial Exchange, and Financial Transactions with Iran Halted The Director of the Strategic Communications Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Afra Al Hameli, rejected all allegations regarding the status of the economic relationship between the United Arab Emirates and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Al Hameli reiterated the UAE’s steadfast commitment to dialogue, cooperation, and regional integration as essential means of advancing peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. Al Hameli underscored that, in light of regional escalations that undermine regional and international peace and security, all trade, commercial exchanges, and financial transactions with Iran have been halted until further notice. Al Hameli emphasized that the UAE remains firmly committed to safeguarding the integrity of the international financial system, in line with international law and the highest global standards.
