Innoviz and Cogniteam Unveil AI-LiDAR Counter-Drone Module

Israeli companies Innoviz Technologies and Cogniteam announced a Counter-UAS perception module that combines Innoviz LiDAR sensors with Cogniteam AI analytics for drone detection, localization, tracking and classification. The companies say the system analyzes object shape, motion, flight behavior and 3D signatures to distinguish drones from birds and other airborne objects, reducing false alarms for operators. The release says the module builds on more than a year of ClearZone deployments with Innoviz LiDAR in perimeter protection, critical infrastructure security and border surveillance. The update adds another Israeli counter-drone tool for defense contractors, integrators and security providers.
