Reports Identify Hamas Information-Security Chief Killed in Gaza Strike

Palestinian reports identified Nafez Sabih, described as a senior Hamas military-wing commander and head of the terrorist organization's information-security apparatus, among those killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza City. Israeli reports said strikes continued overnight and into Sunday despite an emerging U.S.-backed disarmament roadmap. The IDF did not comment on the strike or separately confirm Sabih's death; a day earlier, the military said strikes across Gaza had destroyed five Hamas weapons depots. Israeli officials maintain that Hamas must physically surrender its weapons before any major IDF withdrawal from Gaza.
