Israir Reports Final FAA Approval for U.S. Flights

Israir Group said its aviation subsidiary received U.S. Federal Aviation Administration approval on August 21 to operate flights to the United States. In a filing published August 24, the company said the authorization completed, to the best of its knowledge, all regulatory approvals required in Israel and the United States for the referenced service. The filing follows company reports issued on August 5 and August 18 during the approval process. It does not specify a route, launch date, flight frequency, ticket-sales date or aircraft count.
