⚠️ Trigger Warning: Sexual Violence What you are about to read is only a fraction of the sexual atrocities committed by Gaza terrorists in Israel on October 7 and in the period that followed. Dozens of cases of sexual assault were documented. At least four involved gang rape. Some involved extreme genital mutilation. In many cases, victims were murdered immediately after being raped. In others, sexual violence was inflicted on their bodies after death. At the Nova festival, survivor S' testified that she witnessed several terrorists gang-rape a woman. During the assault, one of them cut off the woman's breast and threw it onto the road. The terrorists played with it. The woman was then shot in the head while the sexual assault was still taking place. Nova survivor Y' testified that he saw a woman surrounded by eight to ten terrorists who beat and raped her. When they finished, the last attacker shot her in the head. Nova survivor D' testified that she heard a woman being passed from one attacker to another during a gang rape. After they finished, they shot her. Another male Nova survivor, identified publicly only as D', testified that he was stripped, gang-raped and tortured by multiple terrorists. Two additional Nova eyewitnesses whose identities remain protected described gang rapes involving seven to ten attackers in one case and five attackers in another. Both victims were murdered. Across the massacre sites, women were found naked or half-naked from the waist down, some of them bound to trees or other structures and shot. Bodies were documented with severe injuries to genital areas, including gunshot wounds, mutilation and burns. One woman in Kibbutz Be'eri was found with a large metal object forced into her vagina. One man was found tied up and naked with a metal object pushed into his groin. Another man was found with an object inserted into his rectum. The perpetrators themselves also described sexual violence during Israeli interrogations. Two captured Hamas terrorists, a father and son, said they and another relative raped a woman in Kibbutz Nir Oz. The son said his father raped her first, followed by him and the relative, and that his father killed her afterward. The son also said he raped another woman. A captured Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist said during interrogation that he entered a home in an Israeli kibbutz, forced a woman onto a couch, undressed her and raped her. And these are only a few of the testimonies from released hostages. Former hostage Amit Soussana testified that a Hamas captor sexually assaulted her at gunpoint in Gaza. Ilana Gritzewsky testified that she was sexually assaulted during her abduction to Gaza. She lost consciousness and later woke up partially undressed and surrounded by Hamas terrorists. Romi Gonen testified that she was sexually assaulted by four different men during her 471 days in captivity. Guy Gilboa-Dalal testified that he was sexually assaulted on two separate occasions in captivity. He said his captor threatened him with a knife and a gun and told him he would be killed if he spoke about what had happened. Keith Siegel testified that he witnessed female hostages being sexually assaulted in captivity. Aviva Siegel testified about sexual abuse suffered by young female hostages held with her, including a young woman who told her that a captor forced her to perform a sexual act. These were not isolated acts. They were part of a documented pattern of systematic sexual atrocities.
Our reality was a million times worse. October 7. https://t.co/4R0eNuMWZK
This is not a scene from a movie. This is October 7. This is 4-year-old Negev and his six-month-old brother, Eshel. The terrorists rocking Eshel in the stroller and holding Negev by the hand had just murdered their mother, Adi. Negev later said: "Bad people came into our house with drills and drilled through the whole house. They wanted to drill Eshel, but Mom wouldn’t let them. She told us to remember that she loved us more than anything in the world. And then she left." The terrorists placed grenades around Adi’s body and left her as bait inside one of the rooms. They tied another grenade to the door handle, so whoever came looking for her would be killed too. Then they filmed a propaganda video to show how "good" they were. They gave wounded Negev water and filmed him saying thank you in Arabic. They had just murdered his mother in front of him. Imagine that. Moments later, they took Negev and Eshel to a neighbor’s house. From there, the terrorists kidnapped all three and headed toward Gaza. On the way, Eshel cried nonstop. His crying bothered the terrorists, who thought he would become a problem later on, so they left all three by the side of the road and continued toward Gaza. They walked back to Kibbutz Holit and survived. The truth cannot be erased. Don't you dare forget.

Yaron fought bravely for hours on October 7, firing more than 300 mortar rounds and eliminating dozens of Hamas terrorists trying to attack his outpost. He never left the mortar. When he was critically wounded in the head by shrapnel and fell into the armored vehicle, even then, he asked them to stay focused on the battle. "I’m okay. Everything’s fine," he told his commander. Israeli security forces dismantled a major Hamas-linked terror network operating in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria. More than 30 operatives were arrested, and weapons intended for terror attacks were seized. The network recruited armed cells and planned attacks on Jews and security forces, including an attack at a restaurant in Modi’in and a shooting attack near Jerusalem. One of the network’s leaders had been released in January 2025 as part of the hostage deal.

Sgt. Ravit Assayag, 19, was serving with the Border Police on October 7. When the attack began, she and her unit were sent toward Sderot, but the road was blocked. Instead, they headed to Moshav Yakhini, where terrorists had infiltrated the moshav. Before the battle began, she managed to call her family, briefly explain the situation, say goodbye, and tell them she loved them. In Yakhini, she and her fellow fighters engaged a terrorist cell. Together with additional forces, they eliminated eight terrorists. After the fighting, Ravit and another fighter were sent to search a shed after suspicious noises were heard coming from inside. She insisted on going in first. Inside, she encountered a terrorist. A gunfight broke out, and she was shot and fell in battle. Ravit defended Moshav Yakhini with her life. Her courage saved many lives. Her light will always guide our way.
