Netanyahu Repeats Broad-Government Bid on Channel 14
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used a late Channel 14 interview to repeat his bid for a broad national government after the election, saying he is against boycotts and will expand the national camp around clear principles. Channel 14 and Times of Israel report that he said the next government should defend Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people, reject a Palestinian state, keep a proactive security policy and continue judicial reform. He also said a Haredi draft law should be advanced by agreement, respecting Torah study while enforcing service for those not learning. Ynetnews carried the same interview's security doctrine: enemy-side buffer zones and no Iranian nuclear weapons.
