JPost: Haifa Trafficking Suspects Indicted
JPost published at 02:09 IDT that indictments were filed in Haifa Magistrate's Court against a man and woman accused of running a human-trafficking network in Haifa and Kiryat Shmona. Its report says the yearlong undercover investigation began in July 2025 after police suspected the pair used social media to recruit vulnerable women, offered false office jobs, provided housing and small stipends, then used threats and pressure to force sex services. Israel Police, Walla, Maariv and Israel Hayom had earlier confirmed the same core case but described it as the prosecutor-statement stage, with indictments expected later. Israel should prosecute traffickers firmly while protecting victims and human dignity.
