Iran MP Threatens Nuclear-Doctrine Shift Over Katz Warning

In a statement posted at 03:42 IDT, Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesman for Iran's Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said Israel Katz's reported threat against Mojtaba Khamenei is a reason to reconsider Iran's nuclear doctrine and Article 8 of the Islamabad Accord. Rezaei's X post says the same, and the underlying Katz warning was preceded by Araghchi's earlier threat that Iran would answer any threat to its leadership. Article 8 commits Tehran to forgo nuclear weapons and negotiate under IAEA supervision. Israel should treat the statement as coercive bargaining, keep nuclear denial central and refuse to let Tehran convert diplomacy into protection for its terror regime.
