Jordan Evacuates Aqaba Airport and Seaport Over Credible Threat

Jordanian authorities evacuated Aqaba International Airport and the city's seaport on Sunday after receiving what the U.S. Embassy described as a specific and credible threat. The embassy advised American citizens in the southern Jordanian city to avoid both facilities. Initial reports did not identify the source or nature of the threat, say when either site would reopen, or report an attack, casualties or damage.
