Iran Threatens Regional Infrastructure as U.S. Briefs Israel on Heavy-Bomber Strikes

Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf warned Wednesday that no infrastructure would be safe unless Iran's security is guaranteed, after President Donald Trump vowed to destroy an Iranian bridge or power plant for every ship attacked in the Strait of Hormuz. Qalibaf said the strait would not return to prewar conditions and that if Iran could not sell oil, nobody would. The United States notified Israel that it intends to expand strikes and use heavy bombers against targets in Iran for the first time in the current 11-day exchange. Iran's threats followed fresh U.S. strikes and attacks on regional shipping and infrastructure.
