Three Haredi Soldiers Attacked at Jerusalem Anti-Draft March

Three Haredi soldiers serving in the IDF's Netzah Yehuda Battalion were attacked after encountering a Jerusalem march held in support of 63 people recently detained on suspicion of involvement in the riot outside Supreme Court Deputy President Noam Sohlberg's home. Hundreds joined a vehicle convoy from Beit Shemesh and then marched toward Kikar HaShabbat. Participants carried signs declaring they would never serve in the army, while members of the crowd threw objects at the soldiers and police. The incident came amid continued disputes over Haredi enlistment and the arrests connected to the damage at Sohlberg's residence.
