Yashar Rises to 24 Seats as Eisenkot Bloc Nears Knesset Majority in Poll

A Channel 12 News poll published Monday evening put Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party first with 24 Knesset seats, a gain of one, while Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud slipped one seat to 22. Naftali Bennett's B'Yachad took 15, Yair Golan's Democrats 11 and Avigdor Liberman's Yisrael Beytenu 10. Otzma Yehudit and United Torah Judaism drew 8 apiece, Shas 7, and the Religious Zionist Party, Hadash-Ta'al and Ra'am 5 each. The bloc opposing Netanyahu reached 70 seats against 50 for his coalition, but without the Arab parties it stood at 60, one short of a majority. Every party in the so-called third bloc finished below the 3.25 percent threshold.
