Eisenkot’s Yashar Opens Four-Seat Lead Over Likud in New Poll

Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar would win 25 Knesset seats if elections were held now, compared with 21 for Likud, according to a poll conducted August 12–13. The anti-Netanyahu bloc reaches 58 seats, while parties aligned with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu receive 50 and the two Arab lists divide the remaining 12 equally. B’Yachad receives 13 seats, Yisrael Beytenu 11, the Democrats nine, Shas and United Torah Judaism eight each, Otzma Yehudit seven and Religious Zionism six. The survey questioned 500 respondents and has a 4.4-percentage-point margin of error.
