The Trade in Services and Investment Agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Russia has entered into force, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade announced. It was signed in Moscow on 8 August 2025 by UAE Foreign Trade Minister Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov. The treaty covers services and investment, complementing the UAE's Economic Partnership Agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union on goods. The ministry said it improves market access, strengthens investor protections and eases the movement of professionals, listing fintech, healthcare, transport and logistics as priority sectors. It put bilateral non-oil trade at 20.4 billion dollars in 2025, up 77.7 percent from 2024.
