Argentina Issues Rain, Snow and Zonda Warnings Across 10 Provinces

Argentina’s National Meteorological Service issued orange and yellow warnings for rain, snow, strong winds and Zonda conditions across 10 provinces for Wednesday. The orange rain warning covers western Neuquén, where 50 to 70 millimetres may fall and higher totals are possible in some areas. Yellow alerts extend to parts of Mendoza, San Juan, La Rioja, Catamarca and other provinces, with wind gusts potentially exceeding 90 kilometres per hour. Authorities advised residents to follow local guidance because the conditions could disrupt daily activity and create hazardous travel.
