Auckland Jury Convicts Lok Fung Lorrence Li of Double Murder

An Auckland High Court jury found Lok Fung Lorrence Li guilty on Monday of murdering Fuk Fu Joseph Kwok and Mei Han Chong at their Ellerslie home in 2023. Jurors also convicted Li of conspiring to murder a former landlord, after a four-week trial and four hours of deliberations. Li had admitted manslaughter in the couple’s deaths but denied intending to kill them. His co-defendant Shu Man Poon pleaded guilty last year and testified against him; Li is due to be sentenced in December.
