Tiberias Confirms Avishai Mualem Is Among City Manager Candidates

Tiberias municipality said Avishai Mualem is one of the candidates for its city manager post. The city said its selection committee will meet immediately after the holiday; it has not announced a chosen candidate or an appointment. Mualem previously headed investigations in the Judea and Samaria police district. An earlier report had described him as a possible appointee, but at that point the municipality said it was searching for a manager and declined to discuss individual names.
