NordVPN Faces Israeli Class-Action Request Over Renewal Billing

NordVPN reportedly faces an application for class-action certification in Israel’s Central District Court over its subscription billing and cancellation practices. The applicant alleges that introductory prices are displayed prominently while renewal prices receive less emphasis. One example in the application compares a $101.88 first-year Max plan with a $301.08 annual renewal. It also alleges that nonmonthly subscriptions are charged 14 days before their current term ends, cancellation involves obstructive steps, and unused subscription periods do not receive proportional refunds. The reported application seeks certification of a class action; these allegations are not court findings.
