Saudi Arabia beat the United Arab Emirates 2-0 in Tuesday’s Gulf Cup 27 final at Alinma Stadium in Jeddah, winning the tournament for the fourth time. Hammam Al-Hammami opened the scoring in the 11th minute, and Firas Al-Buraikan doubled the lead two minutes later. Goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais stopped several Emirati chances and kept a clean sheet through the final whistle. Al-Buraikan finished as the tournament’s leading scorer with 3 goals, Al-Owais won the best goalkeeper award, and Al-Hammami received the best player award as Saudi Arabia celebrated the title at home.
