Only 27% of Terror Victims Return to Prewar Workload, Survey Finds

A survey of 145 victims of terrorism found that only 27% had returned to the same scope of employment they held before the October 7 attack. Thirty-five percent were not working at all, while 34% had returned only partially. The findings were presented at a Tel Aviv conference organized by the 121 Association's Light on the Horizon partnership, where participants called for rehabilitation tailored to each victim rather than a system centered on proving disability percentages. Respondents also described reduced income and greater financial dependence following physical and psychological injuries.
