Qasifa Toddler Moderately Burned by Boiling Water

Magen David Adom said its Negev dispatch center received a report at 19:31 that a toddler had been burned by boiling water in Qasifa. Paramedics treated and evacuated the approximately two-year-old child to Soroka Medical Center in moderate condition with second-degree burns. The official notice did not identify the burned area of the body or describe how the water came into contact with the child. It also did not report additional casualties, name family members or other witnesses, or say whether police or welfare authorities were investigating the circumstances.
