Israel's Average Employee Wage Climbs 7.7% to NIS 15,223 in June

Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics estimated that the average gross wage per Israeli employee job reached NIS 15,223 in June 2026, up 7.7% from a year earlier. The number of Israeli employee jobs rose to 4.216 million, 1.1% above May and 2.0% above June 2025. Final May data put the average wage at NIS 14,263, up 6.6% year-on-year. High-tech employees averaged NIS 35,760 in May, up 13.7%, while the sector accounted for 397,100 jobs, or 9.5% of Israeli employee jobs.
