Caesarstone Q2 Revenue Falls to $96.6 Million as Israel Sales Climb 32%

Caesarstone, the Israeli quartz-surfaces maker based in Sdot Yam, reported second-quarter revenue of $96.6 million, down from $101.1 million a year earlier and off 7.7 percent in constant-currency terms. The company narrowed its adjusted EBITDA loss to $1 million from $6.4 million and lifted gross margin to 24 percent from 19.6 percent as manufacturing cost cuts took hold. Revenue in Israel climbed 32.4 percent, rebounding against a prior-year period hit by regional conflict. Caesarstone repaid its Bank Leumi facility, leaving $51.8 million in net cash and no debt to financial institutions. A new United States tariff-rate quota on quartz imports takes effect on August 15.
