Police and IDF Seize 10 Handguns in Jordan Border Smuggling Attempt

Israel Police's Judea and Samaria District Jordan Border Unit and the IDF's Jordan Valley and Valleys Brigade arrested two Jericho residents in their 20s after detecting suspicious activity along the eastern border Monday evening. Forces established ambushes and observation posts near Gesher Adam and conducted searches overnight. Police said field questioning led officers to a hidden bag containing 10 pistols suspected of having crossed from Jordan that night. The suspects and weapons were transferred to the Judea and Samaria District central unit for investigation.
