Shin Bet Now Assists Police in Haimanot Kasau Search, Herzog Says

President Isaac Herzog told Haimanot Kasau's family that the Shin Bet is now assisting Israel Police in the investigation into her disappearance. The agency confirmed it is carrying out actions that support the police investigation after a police request. Haimanot disappeared from the Jewish Agency absorption center in Safed on February 25, 2024, when she was nine, and has been missing for about two and a half years. Herzog called her a child of all the people of Israel and said every effort must be made to return her to her family.
