Israel Launches NIS 70 Million Bio-AI Consortium

The Israel Innovation Authority and industry partners will invest about NIS 70 million in a new national consortium to build artificial-intelligence infrastructure for biology, drug discovery and personalized medicine. The Israel BioToken Factory Initiative brings together NVIDIA, Teva, Sheba Medical Center, CytoReason, TerraCyte, MeMed and researchers from Weizmann, the Technion and Ben-Gurion University. Its shared Bio Tokens layer and Factory Model platform are designed to integrate molecular, cellular, dynamic and clinical data. Initial applications include oncology-treatment response, immune activity, drug hypersensitivity, sepsis decisions, transplant rejection, autoimmune disease and drug discovery.
