IDF Field-Tests Israeli Pixel Sight Drone-Detection Systems

The Defense Ministry and IDF have purchased drone-detection systems from Herzliya-based Israeli startup Pixel Sight and are field-testing them for possible rapid operational integration. The company’s EdgeSight system uses passive optical sensing and artificial intelligence to identify small, low-signature aerial threats without emitting an electromagnetic signal. Pixel Sight says the system can detect attack drones from more than three kilometers away and distinguish them from birds, vehicles and people. Its OmniSight layer fuses visual intelligence from deployed EdgeSight units into a single operational picture while leaving final decisions to human operators.
